I would like to try and answer it just to help out and also for my edification since i have this trigger kit.

M p shield 9mm light primer strikes. The firing pin assembly is designed for the full sized compact shield versions of the m p 9 40 models of pistols from smith wesson chambered in 9mm 40 s w respectively. It was annoying the hell out of me. This striker assembly is constructed of a durable white polymer bushing keeper and stainless steel pin spring components and is an oem factory original part from smith wesson. I d tried everything different primers isolated various case brands double checked the primers were seated. Smith wesson m p striker assembly. M p light primer strikes picked up the rounds re chambered them after the match and they all went off with very positive strikes on the primers i cleaned and lubed the gun before the match with mobil 1 which i have used for several years now.
