Narrow Half Gable Roof Sims

As the name suggests it is half of a full gable with only one roof section.

The base game has gabled half gable hipped and half hipped roof styles along with their diagonal versions. One crown facing down can cause a dip in the roof plane that will be a pain to sheathe and can t be hidden with shingles. These tools create roof sections that look like they have been cut in half.

The sims 4 revamps the roof system completely. Make it so the gable ends are at the sides of the house. Now pick the half gable tool and place it on the lower floor at the front with the slope of the roof matching the roof on the upper floor. The half gable is useful where a lower level of the building extends out from the upper level.

Using the half gable tool place a roof along the thin outer edge of the second floor on both sides and a gable roof on the top section. There should be a distinct difference in pitch between the top section and the sides. Raise the roof pieces till the side pieces reach the top of the wall and lower the top piece. With this piece of roof selected grab the arrow handle and drag it to the other end of the house.

Auto roofing has been removed and instead roofs can now be pushed and pulled to the size and shape the player wants it to be.
