Every other finish option rogue offers would score a higher rating. Ohio power bar finish you have a little bit of flexibility when it comes to finish.
I recently decided to upgrade to the stainless steel version for two reasons. If you go with the 45 pound version of the ohio power bar you get a choice between bare steel or a black zinc shaft with bright zinc sleeves. 2 machining every bar shaft is machined in columbus ohio. Each barbell shaft is ground and polished prior to machining which allows the bar to have a very smooth finish post any black oxide or black zinc finish. No because i think it looks kind of cool and considering i purchased the ohio bar to beat up not too look pretty i m okay with it.

My ohio bar has a black zinc shaft and over time that black zinc has rubbed away down to the silver metal. I ve been a user of this bar for several years in the black zinc variety.
